The 2025 Porsche Taycan is Porsche's flagship electric vehicle, combining unmatched performance, luxury, and innovative technology. With comprehensive updates for the 2025 model year, including improvements in power, range, and charging, the Taycan is available in both sedan and Cross Turismo styles.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2025 Porsche Taycan comes in several trims: Taycan, Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo, Taycan Turbo S, Taycan Turbo GT, and Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package. Each trim features subtle updates to the front bumper, headlights, fenders, and taillights, with new HD matrix LED headlights available optionally on lower trims and standard on Turbo and above. The Taycan Turbo GT is the new top-of-the-line model, highlighting a revised front and rear style with flatter headlights to emphasize the car's width, a three-dimensional Porsche logo in the rear light strip, and an optional illuminated rear logo with animations. The Turbonite accent color is exclusive to the Turbo and Turbo S models. New exterior color options and the Paint to Sample program offer extensive customization.
Engine (Power)
The 2025 Porsche Taycan offers a range of electric powertrain options. The base rear-wheel-drive model delivers 482 horsepower and accelerates from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. The Turbo S trim boasts up to 938 horsepower and 818 pound-feet of torque, while the Turbo GT reaches 1,019 horsepower with launch control. Two battery options are available: an 83.6-kilowatt-hour standard battery and the 97.0-kilowatt-hour Performance Battery Plus. The estimated range varies from 250 to 325 miles, and DC fast charging up to 320 kilowatts allows for a 10-80% charge in as little as 18 minutes.
Performance
The 2025 Porsche Taycan excels in performance, with acceleration times ranging from 4.5 seconds for the base model to under 2.5 seconds for the Turbo GT. Top speeds vary between 136 mph and 190 mph, depending on the trim. All models come standard with adaptive air suspension, while all-wheel drive variants feature the new Porsche Active Ride suspension. A push-to-pass feature provides an additional 70-kilowatt boost for 10 seconds, and launch control mode with "over boost power" enhances acceleration. The Taycan has an increased battery recuperation capacity of 400 kilowatts, further improving efficiency.
Interior
The interior of the 2025 Porsche Taycan is a testament to luxury and advanced technology. Updated control and display concepts and new leather-free options, such as Race-Tex microfiber and wool textiles, offer premium comfort. Brushed aluminum door sill protectors add a touch of elegance. The optimized user interface includes multiple display and information touchscreens, ensuring seamless connectivity with Apple CarPlay+ and Android Auto compatibility. A mode switch on the steering wheel is now standard, and some trims feature a dedicated push-to-pass button. Cargo space remains practical, ranging from 12 to 14 cubic feet.
