Trim Levels of the 2024 Porsche 911

If you want more out of a drive than simply getting from point A to point B, the 2024 Porsche 911 should be on your to-drive list.

With heart-pounding performance both on and off the track, the 911 continues the classic legacy of excellence in design for the 2024 model year with a lineup to suit every driving enthusiast.

Trim Levels of the 2024 Porsche 911

What Body Style Is Right for You?

The Carrera is the classic, hard-top body style for the Porsche 911, offering the safety and comfort of an enclosed design. The entry-level 911 and top-tier GT3, GT3 Touring, and GT3 RS trims come exclusively in hard-top. The Cabriolet is the convertible form of the 911, with the ability to pull the top all the way down for a thrilling cruise down the highway or defeat inclement weather with the ragtop in place.

Porsche’s Targa body has been innovative since its inception: an integrated roll bar separates the top and rear window, which can be taken down independently for complete customizability. This year’s Targa lineup features all-wheel drive and includes the Targa 4, 4S, and 4 GTS, ranging from a rev-ready 379 horsepower up to 473 horses-worth of power under the hood.

How Many Drive Wheels Would You Like?

Carrera, Carrera S, Carrera GTS, and Carrera T (along with their Cabriolet editions) are all rear-wheel-drive members of this year’s lineup, with the rear-mounted engine driving the rear wheels exclusively to hurtle the 911 forward. The GT3 trims all sport rear-wheel-drive as well, offering maximum efficiency between the engine and the road.

For maximum traction and control, Porsche’s all-wheel-drive powertrain is baked into the 4, 4S, and 4 GTS trims of this year’s 911, including all Targa and GT3 models.

Rear Passengers, or a True Two-Seat Coupe?

While most editions of the 911 have a space for rear passengers, the Carrera T trim of the 911 chooses to minimize weight and optimize performance by deleting the rear seat.

Power, or More Power?

Entry-Level Engine

Even the entry-level 3.0-liter H-6 twin-turbo engine packs a wallop, pumping out 379 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque, meaning that even the base model 911 goes from 0 to 60 in four seconds flat.

GTS Means Great Track Speed

The GTS power plant offers a well-muscled 473 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque.

Turbo Adds Go-Go

Coming in Carrera and Cabriolet shells, the 911 Turbo rocks a 3.8-liter H-6 engine capable of a thrilling 572 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, hurtling you from zero to sixty in just 2.7 seconds. The Turbo S offers an even more mind-boggling 640 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque for a top track speed of 205 mph.

GT3 for a Great Time

The GT3 trims of the 2024 911 offer 518 horsepower and 342 lb-ft of torque, meaning that the GT3 can hit 197 mph on the track and go from 0-60 in just 3 seconds on the highway (depending on the setup).
